From the famous Sella Chianzutan, nestled between Mount Verzegnis and Mount Piombada, we will ascend in the shade of beech trees to the Avrint malga. From the small pastureland on which the malga stands, we will enjoy a privileged view of a good part of the Friulian mountains: from the Julian Alps to the east, to the Carnic chain that forms the border to the north, while at our feet we will have the Tolmezzo plain.
During the excursion, we will be able to discover which animals live in these areas and in particular we will talk about the Francesco bear, which has been crossing these woods for several years.
