This recommended itinerary runs from the mountains to the sea along the Alpe Adria cycle path, without forgetting the food and wine aspect that makes the route unique.

DAY 1: TARVISIO
Arrival in Tarvisio and check-in at the hotel. Free time to explore the area, such as the Fusine lakes, or for a walk in the woods or in the town centre. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: TARVISIO - VENZONE - 60 KM
After breakfast, departure by bicycle for one of the most evocative stretches of the "Alpe Adria" cycle path, which runs along the former Pontebbana railway. Cycling along the course of the Fella river and through tunnels, viaducts and bridges we will reach Resiutta, where a stop to taste their famous roast chicken is a must. The tour will then continue to Venzone, where it will be possible to visit one of the most beautiful villages in Italy with a stop for a pleasant refreshment in the town centre. Accommodation in a charming B&B equipped for bicycles. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.
DAY 3: VENZONE - UDINE - 55 KM
Breakfast and departure for the section of the route that crosses the suggestive area of the nature reserve of Lake Cornino, skirting Lake Cavazzo, up to San Daniele del Friuli, known throughout the world for its ham. After lunch at a ham factory the tour will continue towards Udine, along the closed Udine - San Daniele railway. Arrival in Udine and accommodation in a charming B&B equipped for bicycles. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.
DAY 4: UDINE - GRADO - 59 KM
Breakfast and departure for the last stretch of the cycle path, less demanding but certainly not monotonous or boring. Cycling through ancient villages towards the starry city of Palmanova, we will meet several Venetian Villas, such as Villa Declani in Selvuzzis and reach Aquileia, fulcrum of the Roman Empire and evidence of the importance of the region for trade. Free lunch. Visit of the site and departure to Grado passing over the bridge that connects the mainland to the island, crossing the beautiful Grado lagoon. Accommodation in hotel, dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.
DAY 5: GRADO
Breakfast at the hotel and free time to walk in this beautiful town (where you can also visit some Roman ruins or churches), or simply enjoy a relaxing day at the beach ( from Mai to September) End of services.
