This tour is very popular with "super cyclists" and fans of big climbs, a tour accompanied by our best bike guides to retrace some stages of the Giro d'Italia.
DAY 1: TOUR TOWARDS PIANCAVALLO AND "LA SALITA PANTANI" - 60 KM
Arrival at the hotel and meeting with the tour assistant for details of the different possible routes available and bike handover to those who do not have their own. Departure towards Piancavallo, one of the historic climbs of the Giro d'Italia. The tough climb will take you to the top of Monte Cavallo, the finish line of several stages. The descent will be along the northern side towards Lake Barcis and Montereale Valcellina, for a total of 60 km of itinerary. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: VAJONT DAM TOUR - 80/160 KM
Departure after breakfast for the tour from Aviano passing through Caneva, Vittorio Veneto and Fadalto to the Vajont dam, finally reaching Erto. Packed lunch and return by car with bike support service. The route is about 80 km long, but it is possible to continue and descend by bike towards Lake Barcis to Aviano. The route will be about 160 Km. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 3: PROSECCO HILLS TOUR - 70 KM
Departure for the tour from Aviano to Conegliano and up to the beautiful Prosecco hills. The itinerary will pass through Caneva, Cordignano, Conegliano and Refrontolo, the heart of the Prosecco area. Lunch break on request and then guided visit to a winery with wine tasting. Return, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: TOUR AT THE FOOT OF THE MOUNTAINS- 60 KM
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Ragogna passing through Aviano and Maniago, a town north of Pordenone, known for its knife production and steelworks. The tour will continue to Spilimbergo, a beautiful town that boasts the famous Friuli Mosaic School whose masterpieces are known worldwide. The itinerary is about 60 km long; arrival at the beautiful resort surrounded by nature, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: THE TOUR OF MOUNT ZONCOLAN - 52 KM
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by car for Tolmezzo, where the itinerary starts with the ascent of the famous Mount Zoncolan, passing through Villa Santina and Ovaro. Once at the top, the descent on the slopes of Sutrio and Arta Terme. The itinerary is 52 km long. Arrival in Tolmezzo and meeting with the driver for the transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6: TOUR OF THE JULIAN ALPS - 70-147 KM
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for one of the most important and challenging cycling stages, tackling some of the most famous climbs (well known to those who love this sport), immersed in the splendid landscape of the Western Julian Alps. Departure from Cividale del Friuli up the Natisone river, along the hard climb of Monte Maggiore (Monte Matajur), the Monte San Martino pass, the Drenchia / Crai climb and then the descent towards Cividale; the route is about 70 km long. Those who want a more challenging itinerary can continue the tour by climbing towards Tarcento and once reached Attimis undertake the hard climb of Porzus, followed by the climb of Valle, then the challenging descent to Cividale del Friuli. This second route is 77 km long. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 7: TOUR FROM THE HILLS TO THE SEA - 90 KM
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from Ragogna, passing through Corno di Rosazzo, Cormons and the beautiful area of the Collio hills, Redipuglia, Duino up to Trieste; practically the last stretch of a stage of the Giro d'Italia. The itinerary is about 90 km long. Return to the hotel, end of services.
