We will set off from the fascinating Planinsko Polje and shortly afterwards plunge into the Dinaric forest. The landscape we will pass through will be an expression of all the epigean and hypogean karst phenomena, shaped by waters full of mystery.

When we reach Rakov Škocjan, we will observe all that the nature of the limestone rock has to offer: shapes and structures that will leave us open-mouthed, with enigmatic streams playing hide-and-seek, of which it is not at all intuitive to understand their origin and destination.

After an overnight stay in the heart of the forest, we will continue our walk through the vast forests of theJavornik to the Cerkniško Jezero, one of the largest karstic lakes in Europe, wherea very high biodiversity index - a must for all nature lovers.

After travelling almost the entire circumnavigation of the lake, with dreamlike views of the wide polje, we will reach the bucolic farmhouse that will host us for the second night.

The following morning, we ascend to the scenic Križna Gora, encountering the beautiful tourist cave Križna Jama (there is a guided tour lasting about 1 hour. Optional but highly recommended activity, the which requires the payment of an entrance fee of 9 €).

Once again through the forests, through the idyllic landscapes of Loška Dolina we will finally reach Grad Snežnik, the fairy-tale castle at the foot of Monte Nevoso, where we will end our long walk among thebeauties hidden in the Dinaric forests of Nojtranski Trikotnik.
