Meeting at Malga Sorgazza and briefing to present the experience. Start of the ascent of Val Sorgazza, where an enchanted forest gives way to an open path, surrounded by colossal, dark mountains, which look like something out of a Tolkien novel. Arrival at the Brentari hut, located a short distance from Lake Cima D'Asta, which shines like a drop of sky at the foot of the mountain of the same name.

Departure to the nearby peak of Cima d'Asta, at 2847 m and surrounded by sensational views. Lakes and remnants of the First World War abound in this stretch.

We ascend towards the Ravetta Valley, in an environment that seems to have been transplanted here from the mountains of Canada, arriving between the Cime di Rava, where the numerous alpine lakes embellish like rare gems the marvellous and wild panoramas of this area. Through ravines on the edge of 2400 metres of altitude, the trail then re-enters the forest, which with an ancient and mysterious charm returns us to the Malga Sorgazza plain, after 3 days of adventure amidst austere, yet bewitching lands.
