Our journey begins at the Rifugio Giàf, nestled in the tranquillity of the forests above Forni di Sopra. From here we will walk along the enchanting Truoi from Sclops, the Sentiero delle Genzianelle (Gentianelle Path), which will take us through a succession of fairytale settings: from the Forcella Urtisiel to the vast plateau of Valmenonto the Campuros alpine meadow, a true summer paradise, intoxicating with colours and scents.
We will then cross the Brica fork and the Fork of Hellto descend gently into the upper Val di Suola, lulled by the sounds of wild nature. At the end of the day, the Flaiban-Pacherini Refuge, surrounded by spires and silence, will welcome us. Stop for a packed lunch along the way, dinner and overnight stay at the Flaiban Pacherini Refuge.

After breakfast we will collect our packed lunches and set off along the path that will take us to the Sole Pitchand then over Forcella Rua Alta and Forcella Pramaggiore.
We then proceed to the Val dell'Infernowhich has nothing hellish about it but the name, and we will enter the green Val Postegaeuntil reaching the Pordenone Refuge, set in a landscape of extraordinary beauty. Stop for a packed lunch along the way, dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Pordenone.

After breakfast and the collection of our packed lunches, we will begin our adventure towards Val Montanaia, with its absolute symbol, the Bell Tower of Val Montanaiaa monolith standing out in the sky like a 'cry of stone'. We observe it from below, walking at its feet, feeling tiny in the face of such greatness.
We cross the Forcella Montanaia (or, alternatively, the Forcella Segnata) to descend through landscapes sculpted in time, to the Rifugio Padova, nestled between the peaks of the Spalti di Toro and the Cridola, ready to welcome us for the night. Stop for a packed lunch along the way, dinner and overnight stay at Rifugio Padova.

After breakfast and the collection of packed lunches, a memorable traverse into the heart of the Monfalcon Mountains will begin. We will ascend towards Forcella Monfalcon di Forni, dominated by the austere rock walls that guard the Marchi-Granzotto Bivouac, a solitary metal structure that seems to watch over the silence of the amphitheatre that surrounds it.
We will then cross the Forcella del Cason saddle to descend towards the Giàf hut, where our adventure will come to an end, leaving us with images in our eyes that will remain imprinted forever. Alternatively, for those seeking an easier route, it is possible to ascend to Forcella Scodavacca and return more comfortably to Rifugio Giàf. For the more experienced, the ascent to Tacca del Cridola and the Cridola alpine peak (2581 m). Packed lunch along the way. Return on your own.
